The cost of wood boilers

    So, on average, how much wood you say wood boilers cost? I think they could bring some good heating savings over times and might well be worth the investment. I would like to have some basic ideas of pricing, however.

    The boilers are often about $1500-$3000 for the boiler unit itself. But if you have to pay someone to put it in and do the piping, it gets more expensive. I got estimates of anywhere from $3000-$4500.
