Lopi Republic 1750 Wood Burning Stove Review

Unlike the Lopi Republic 1250, the Lopi Republic 1750 was designed to heat medium to large sized homes. The stove features a large radiant cooktop surface that allows it to be used as a stovetop as well, making it well suited for heating up food on cold winter nights. The sturdy and highly durable steel construction can be supported on either legs or a pedestal stand and includes an outside air kit.

While some owners don’t believe the efficiency of this large stove justifies the amount of money it costs, it is an aesthetically pleasing modern stove that many owners have nothing but positive reviews. A few owners commented on how specific your houses set-up needs to be for the stove to work best.

Your current flue set-up possibly needs to to have the same diameter of the flue of the Republic 1750, you may need to have a current air intake as well. Be sure to contact Lopi to inquire whether there are specific characteristics your house has to have for this stove to be compatible for a somewhat affordable situation.
