I know some people use a firewood moisture meter to try to determine if it is dry enough to burn. What readings would you need to see on this meter to say the wood is ready to go?

So, you can burn wood that has a reading on one of these meters of 25% or less without any concern. Your wood will be the driest and in the best condition to burn if you get a reading that is not more than 20% of the moisture content on the meter. Hope that helps.
