I am considering a pellet stove. I am wondering if this will lead to lower heating costs than other fuel sources.
Pellet fuel will cost significantly less than electric heat. It will also be less than oil. However it may be more expensive than natural gas.
It is much cheaper than similar energy-pellets and can be compacted/manufactured from the husk at the farm itself, using cheap machinery.
yes it is cheaper form of fuel
Isn’t it often made from sawdust and other materials? I guess this would be what keeps the pricing down since it is used from wood waste if you will that might otherwise be thrown out.
