Whitfield Cascade Pellet Stove Review

The Whitfield Cascade pellet stove offers simple styling and is a good quality stove for those on a budget. Whitfield as a brand doesn’t exist anymore as it was part of Lennox Hearth Products which is now known as Innovative Hearth Products

The Cascade doesn’t feature an electronic ignition or a thermostat, however, it does have its benefits. The stove can heat an area of up to 1,500 sq.ft and has a heat output of 30,000 BTU’s. In addition, The high efficiency ‘ultra grate’ operates at nearly 100% combustion and provides up to 40 hours burn time.

Owners complain about the fussiness of the Cascade, that it needs constant attention to perform the way you’d expect. If the fire goes out from the user not managing the fire, the unit creates smoke which is not a desired affect of home stove.

Other issues owners run into is that the blower motor tends to act up and needs to be replaced at times during the Cascades life expectancy. All-in-all there are sufficient reasons this unit isn’t produced any longer.
